@John Johnson Being proud of Veterans and of the actual war is 2 different things. There shouldn't of been a Vietnam War. We lost and it changed nothing because it never mattered. It was an unjust war, plain and simple. I'm not proud of the Vietnam War.

My father was a medic like Martinez. He walked across Germany at the age of 18 and met the Russians on the other side of the Elbe River at the end. Then he went to California for training in amphibious landings to storm Japan. The atom bomb meant he got to go ashore there peacefully with the occupation troops. Medic sometimes get ribbed because they don't have to carry a rifle. But they're out there with the same deadly bullets, and a field pack of medical equipment is every bit as heavy as a rifle and ammo.

This lady holding the sign say trump is a warmonger is wearing a EU shirt I think should so be protesting the EU I think she is confused on who really is the warmonger
@Adam-ui4ef5 жыл бұрын
One of the reasons the EU was formed was a cohesive Europe was needed because both World Wars originated out of Europe. With a European parliament and now a single EU currency the chances of conflict breaking out in Europe is extremely low. The EU charter includes solving conflict though diplomacy and outlaws any use of military force among members. If the EU was in operation before 1914 there would never have been a WW1 or WW2. Alliances and regional memberships like the EU, NATO have kept the world from succumbing to a third World War. This as two world wars broke out in the first half of the 20th Century and none since the EU & NATO was ratified.
