This was a brilliant analysis of the intelligence capabilities and the decisions made by the Americans before and during the Ardennes offensive from it by Dr. Fontenot. His incredible research has given us insight into the very human interpretation of the Wehrmacht's intentions and capabilities at that time. The mention he makes of General Bradley almost seeming to bait the Germans into attacking gave me pause to think just how much did the American high command actually know?

I really enjoyed this, both the talk and the answers to questions. If you don't travel and spend time in with different cultures you will believe everyone thinks like you.

As a Vietnam helicopter pilot, I have always felt that the word Military and intelligence should never be in the same chapter of a book.
