You got a sub based on the quality and care that went into this info vid, brother. MXR's video manual pales in comparison. What a wealth of knowledge. Thank you!

I love the MXR M300 Reverb, specially the Epic and Pad modes in stereo. Running a single TRS cable between the two seems like a perfect match.

This must be the only pedal released this year so far! I've only seen demos for this pedal, and that's not a bad thing.

Right, no one needs a bunch of watered down garbage. There is enough out there, as you know. Take care.

Had this pedal for a few weeks now. It’s outstanding. Does everything you could want a delay to do and in a tiny enclosure. Highly recommend. And it’s fairly affordable too.

You had me at “massive wide multi-tap rhythmic complexity.” That intro track was mesmorizing. You should definitely throw that one up on the Patreon.

Awesome demo, with so many great sounds. I just wish it had a couple presets because that many secondary functions would be impossible live.

It’s kind of the barometer I think stuff needs to be judged by when it comes to features. The base sound needs to work and everything else just gets to be embellishment

@@bobisadrummer Totally! The M300 reverb blew me away when I heard it. I started building my first pedalboard in 2021, after only doing multi effects until then. I bought the TC Electronic Hall Of Fame 2, which is a really good and affordable pedal. I knew that Allen Epley of Shiner and The Life And Times uses the M300, and I tried it. I did a shootout against the HOF2, and it took only seconds before the HOF2 was blown off my pedalboard. I don't know what it is, but the sound of that reverb is just pleasing to my ears and it's an inspiring pedal. My favourite and most used setting is the Epic. But all six modes are amazing!

Hey, how's everyone doing? Quick question, does anyone know, Mark if you have some time to reply, when does this pedal hit the market? I've been searching all morning and the only hits I get for the pedal are the demo videos on KZbin and a reddit post that says it's a U2 The Edge pedal(haha). I live in France, not sure if that has anything to do with it, I'm sure not. Any info would be highly appreciated. Y'all have a great day.

Is the input TRS stereo also or is it just the output? Would have loved for you guys to just make it simple and put two TS inputs/outputs on it and kept the control input independent. Also would have loved if you housed it in a larger enclosure and put two footswitches for both delay lines. Maybe a deluxe version in the future?
@gigaha9 ай бұрын
The Joshua user manual only specifies a stereo output, so I would guess the input is mono only. That would keep us both from wanting to buy this. Luckily there are a lot of other dual delay pedals that run in stereo - the Nemesis, Meraki, Halo, Reflecting Pool, and a few Boss ones come to mind.

@Paul_Lenard_Ewing9 ай бұрын
THANX, Mark for an exceptional and 'real' demo and tutorial of the pedal. I have 4 delays although I use them as simple frame around my playing. I only play my 33 original tunes. I come from years of Progressive Rock so my playing is both complex and ambitious. Ambience delays will and they do like to play a for example G# over my G. In short I do not wish to compete with a pedal for playing time, lol. I am the writer, vocalist and guitarist in a trio. I do 3 things at once with no one to mask it if I screw up for a second. So for more than glorified slap backs and I can not have my delays very wet. Damp is enough, LOL 🙂

I'm kinda torn!? While I applaud DUNLOP for this new product, my dream of DUNLOP putting out an Echoplex Delay version 2 seems so distant now, if it ever comes to fruition. I love the direction that DUNLOP has taken their digital fx line of pedals (reverb m300, tremolo m305, and Echoplex ep103) and I had hoped that the ECHOPLEX would follow suit with more dsp power and capabilities similar to this JOSHUA Delay here. I mean they own the ECHOPLEX name!!! Wouldn't they want to flex that name over the reference to an iconic album from an artist/guitarist that isn't even associating with/endorsing this product.😢 Dunlop has collaborated with a whole slew of artists and boutique pedal makers to create their signature line of products. Seems odd of Dunlop to produce a pedal gesturing to an iconic player outside their artist roster. I don't think the artist would hold it against Dunlop as the artist doesn't outright own the name being used. With all this being said, I love Dunlop/MXR/WAY HUGE. My only 2 gripes about the JOSHUA Delay is the phase90 compact enclosure (side mounted jacks are the bane of my pedalboard experience, I don't care what you think or say) and only ONE SECOND OF DELAY!?!? ECHOPLEX ep103 maxes out at 4 Mississippi's, which is an unnecessary amount, but a great feature nonetheless and much appreciated. Oh well, I bought the new Joshua delay but I'm still loving the ep103
