Shame no 30w or pps. Samsung phone user and this will give me just 15w. The weight savings is nice tho. 291g for the 20k is great tho.

@@ChickenFriedCorgi people are so mad at me. I literally have UNBOXING in the title of the video. Maybe I should change it to “nitecore power bank unboxing, NOT A REVIEW” and less people will be upset with me? I never called this a review or recommendation. It’s a new product. I opened a box on camera and did some simple tests like I always do. I just don’t get it

I've been carrying Nitecore flashlights for years, and they use to be my light on my rifles (Olights on the rifles now). Fantastic lights! I had no idea they had power banks, too.

The 20k previous gen was 45w and had 4 ports, i don't understand what's the improvement in the gen3 ? Also it is 20ah at 3.85v, so its more comparable to a 13ah at 5v, best way is to use wh for capacity comparison.
@wwjoshdewАй бұрын
@@cocadmin best thing for me is to plug it into a dead steam deck and see how full it can make the steam deck battery before, before the power bank dies. This was just an unboxing. Not a review or recommendation.

I think when it's free your opinion changes. First 10000 mah, rated energy 5400mah, efficiency is too low. Second packaging reallh looks weird with that yellow bands. Third 10000 mah, every brand 20w already light, they should provide something like 14000 mah and high efficiency (actual rate 8-9k) with 200gr range.

55-65% should be norm for powerbanks though?

@@Jiraiya06 this was an unboxing. Not a review or recommendation. I never called this a review. I literally just recorded me opening a box and made some first impression comments about it. It’s expensive and slow. Should you spend 100 dollars on Anker’s 737 instead?! Absolutely.

@@frp1276 hell yeah!! I now use usb a to c on my nightstand to slowly charge my phone to 80 percent. But power banks?! I don’t wannabe connected to one for the entire day.

@@wwjoshdew totally. With my phone my strategy is having a slow qi charger on my desk. No heat, charge is maintained or slow. I'll fast charge anything if I don't have the time though

This is the slowest 20Ah power bank I have seen of late. May look pretty, but it's pretty useless if it takes 5 hours to fully charge and it's not even able to charge a typical phone at full speed. It's also insanely expensive at $100. The typical power bank of this caliber is being sold for around $30. I respect your opinion, but this video put a dent in that respect. Were you paid for this video?
@wwjoshdewАй бұрын
@@adriftatlas no. I was not paid anything, but I did receive the product for free. I never said it was worth it. I never said it was great. Just like the g power power bank, it’s cool. But should you spend your money on something else, yes. This was just an unboxing. NOT a review or recommendation. Anker and many other companies send me products for free, but I have never been paid by a company to make a video for them.

Too expensive for such little in/out speeds. Probably something repackaged from china too, since it supports 22.5w. Seriously, what uses 10v2.25a??

@@Thomas_Ye I agree. The only thing it has going for it is its build quality. This was just an unboxing of a new product. Not a review or recommendation.
