You should open the gloves in sterile technique inside the package before scrubbing or explain that the circulator opened the gloves for you inside the package

@@Harthelos04 my hospital has the sensor faucet and they suck. they go off in the middle of hand washing and you have to wave your hand contaminating it with germs so now we have a placecard we put in front of the sensor to trick it and someone comes behind us and turn its by removing the placecard.

In the United States we have absolutely different technique for surgical hand scrub which is way better than that one I just saw in this video. And, all our faucets are hands-free with electronic sensors that significantly reduces the risk of contamination and don't let the water run while performing the surgical hand scrub.

Most hospitals only require a complete scrub once, and then you can use the special hand sanitizer type scrub for the rest of the day.

No, she didn’t. You open your gown pack before you scrub. You can’t scrub, then touch the outside of the pack. You open your gown pack, go scrub, dry hands, and put on your gown, then gloves.

Wash hands for 2 minutes taking care to waste as much water as possible. Don't worry about turning that water off. Just watch is go to no use whatsoever.

if it's motion sensor you can turn it off obviously but if you retouch the thing to turn it off then you're not sterile anymore

Apart from the fact that life is more important than a little waste of water you can't waste water anyway. At least not in the way you use gasoline for example. If you burn gasoline, the gasoline is gone. If you use water, the water is still there. You can clear it up in a sewer process and use it again.
