@@micmac99 I have a nice playlist of easy listening and Muzak. My go to just for background music or destressing. Found some good easy listening stations still broadcasting.

I was a black teen that loved this music also. I grew up in Philadelphia and my mother would turn on WWSH, which played the most soothing music and at Christmas they played the most beautiful Christmas music. I still love to listen to this and all kinds of music by a variety of artists and genres.

I can also remember that this is the music that you would hear in the department stores like Gimbels, Sears, Strawbridge and Clothier and even in the grocery store, my favorite was going in Pantry Pride. The good old days. 😊

I operated WEVZ - Easy 96.3 FM - in Cadillac MI for a while. The machine looked exactly like the one in this photo. We named it Ralph. I had to feed it weather and news updates regularly. We had more listeners on the FM side than we ever did on the AM Top 40 side.
