*All 3 of them use a lifeline and answered option B. Also all 3 of them use three lifelines respectively in order (50:50, Phone a Friend, and Ask the Audience).
*Jim Titmuss and Duncan Bickley who both broke the record of the highest of amount of money ever lost, used 50:50, eliminating A and C, both incorrectly answering B, and the correct answer was D.

*Chris and everybody else thought Duncan Bickley would win £1,000,000 because of his great performance, also he would have been the second contestant to answer the £500,000 question correctly.
*Rob Mitchell became the 5th of the seven contestants to save all 3 lifelines for the £250,000 question, after Martin Skillings, Ben Bartle, Gerry Lennon, Diane Hallagan, and Dougie Wilson, and before James Plaskett.

Whether they lost just £3000 or £218,000, it really is heartbreaking when it happens, some say its worth the risk, but when it comes to the real life-changing money the moral of the story is, DON'T GAMBLE UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU KNOW THE ANSWER!!!

However some people don't care about money and want to enjoy the moment of being in the emission and want to continue even if they are not sure. The time spent in the studio is more important for them than money.

Mathematically, it's worth taking a shot if you're going for half a million after a 50/50. If you lose, you keep the 32k, but if you win, you double the money and keep playing. But I agree, it's life-changing money already when you get to 250k, so maybe it's wiser to forget the probabilities and just walk away. Depends on someone's life situation, and anyways, people who are drawn to this kind of shows tend to be risk-takers in the first place.

The Roald Amundsen one... I wish I was her phone a friend on that one :( knew it was between 1910-1912 and was stunned that the options were so wide ranging when it’s a 500k question, learnt about the Amundsen-Scott race at school!

How do you not know the Amy Johnson's question? You don't even have to be an Aviation buff like me & you can still work that one out. Really? The Oscar question wrong? You can work it out just by putting your hands on your chest as if you are holding the top & bottom & you will see that the statue is over 11in, so you know it's C.

How would one deduce that the plane was named Jason instead of Pegasus? I didn't know it anyway. I knew that the oscar height had a half in it but I couldn't pick between the 2 on offer as I figured A) could have been correct.
