Interesting how Charles Ingram is fully shown in this episode yet they completely cut him out of the broadcast episode the night he gets into the hotseat. They even removed his name from the FFF graphic which shows who won it

That all is the reason why wwtbam is the best show in tv-history since 25 years. Our German version "Wer wird Millionär " with Günther Jauch on RTL has its 25 years jubilee on 3.September 2024. The show has been on the air with the same host for 25 years without interruption.

It was a big deal when it premiered in Norway back in the late 90s but it gradually lost it's sponsors, got replaced with a "Hot-Seat" version before it got completely removed from television. And the host got replaced several times during it's run

So irritating when someone makes a guess and tarrant says "not ...." suggesting some other random answer. Why does he do this? And "do u think you're right" If they didn't think they were right they'd have made a different guess, wouldn't they

So this is the episode where Charles Ingram never made it to the Hot Seat, and he was wearing glasses as well. I'm aware that this is his second episode after both he and wife Diana appeared on the Couples Edition.

Edit; I was wrong! 😅 Sorry. They were on a couple's edition, they just didn't get past FFF. I had no idea. They weren't on a couples edition, Diana played by herself.

This episode is from January 2001, and Charles and Diana's couples appearance was in March two months later, so this is his first appearance on the show

Yeah I definitely imagine that it would've been her who made the phone call for the couples edition, given that she was obsessed with Millionaire whereas Charles wasn't even interested in any quiz shows. Charles has even stated himself that he never wanted to go on Millionaire for that reason, so that definitely must be true
