Save your money, get some decent winch stands and fly the 802's in a line array, move the 302's together against the front of the stage and they'll be twice as impressive!

192 of them make a lot of sound.. And they are 4" drivers - and in my oppinion they could do with some tweeters as Bose EQ the crap out of them to get the treble and bass back. I've heard these speakers.. reasonably clean sound but they do have a bit of a 'honk' to them at 500-1k and they are quite harsh in the treble. They sound better outdoors in my opinion.

Were the stage monitors Bose, too??????? Sounds quite good......... Rogers Centre (used to be GM Place) here in Vancouver has just been fitted with Bose audio system to replace the original 13 year-old one. It's quite unique. A lot of huge, box-shaped contraptions hanging from the ceiling.......It sounded good too.

ive got a pair of the Bose 802 series 2 speakers and im working on getting the rest of the knowledge and equipment to start djing, and yea those are way overkill i can light up my entire 2 acres backyard and the feilds around me with my simple set up

i think Bose are Awsome sounding speakers i use my 802s and 502bs for disco work for live sound work i take my Martin Audio 8 x H3+ and 8X martin Audio WS318x triple 18 subs

con montarbo o rcf bastavano 4 diffusori 15 e 2 subwoofer 18, con bose per avere un po di potenza devi aggiungerne troppi

È vero infatti anche con 4 Electro voice toureix da 15 passive e due sub doppio 18 passivi avevi il doppio della potenza rispetto a bose mettere 24 diffusori e 8 sub è un po' esagerato anche per lo spazio da coprire e comunque non sono molto potenti bose è buono nell'HiFi ma non nel PA professionale troppe casse per un po' di db e copertura in più poi tra l'altro sono anche vecchie come casse e come tecnologia quindi secondo me non sono proprio adatte a live e ad ambienti grossi in questo caso sarebbe meglio mettere un linearray al posto di casse singole.

24 x Bose 802 and 8 x 302 bass is a very very flexible system, the owner of this equipment knows the value of such flexibility, they can cut the system up into small packages for multiple jobs, anything from 2 x 802s on stands to a large production such as this one, once a company is invested into this kit it is very easy to increase it size and power, 1 pair of 802 mkii can be bought on ebay for £300. (uk) so anyone can add to their stock level as time goes on.

tiny yes cheep no and the voice coils are flat ribbon and are the best voice coils used on any driver yet to be made, I'm not saying the idea of 3 inch drivers was ever a good idea , but the 800 series stood the test of time and used correctly had a lovely sound if not over equalized, as the speakers run flat were only good for upper mid, thats where i used them and they were better than 2x12 mid any day,
