32 team Major is a terrible move. 3 rounds of swiss.. fucking hell.. probably still bo1 yeah? No bo5 final either. Too many teams and some of them skipping TWO whole stages (between 6 to 10!!! games/matches).. insane. All this makes for not as exciting of a tournament as it should be.

Prizemoney generally goes to the players' pockets, at least that's pretty much the industry standard expectation in a CS contract. ESL and BLAST offer similar amounts but split it between prizemoney and incentives for the clubs, which some players also get a portion of, but a minority one, unlike with prizemoney. And since most organizations have the ultimate say in what their teams attend, they prefer the events that guarantee them a bigger cut than they'd get in the prizemoney-only PGL events.
