Le 21 septembre 2016, le service incendie est appelé pour un feu dans le centre-ville de Montréal (Vieux-Montréal), au niveau du secteur de la caserne 20. Suite à des appels multiples et la dangerosité du secteur avec de vieux bâtiments historiques et le caractère touristique, de nombreuses casernes sont mobilisées. Dans cette vidéo ont voit notamment le départ des unités de la caserne 5 avec la pompe 205, l'échelle 405, le poste de commandement 1005 (le seul de la ville) et le véhicule de ravitaillement en air 1605. Les service de Police et Urgences-Santé se sont également rendus sur les lieux. A mon arrivée sur place, l'incendie était déjà maitrisé. Ce seraient des travaux de rénovation sur le toit qui auraient causé l'incendie dans un bâtiment de la rue Saint-Jacques. Les opérations de secours ont fortement perturbé le traffic aux alentours.
On september 21st 2016, fire services are being dispatched to a fire in Montreal downtown, in station 20's first due area. Because there are several historical buildings in that touristic area and because many people called 911, several fire stations were added to the call. In this video you can see station 5 responding, which is one of the second due stations for that area. Engine 205, ladder 405, command post 1005 (the only in the city) and breathing apparatus support 1605 are responding to the fire along other units of other stations as well as police and EMS. At my arrival the fire was already under control which seemed to be caused by renovation works on the roof. Traffic was heavily impacted by emergency operations.
Am 21 September 2016 wurde die Feuerwehr zu einem Brand in der Innenstadt von Montreal gerufen. Nachdem viele Anrufer den Notruf gewäht haben und aufgrund der historischen Gebäude der Altstadt, die ebenfalls zahlreiche Touristen anzieht, wurde die Alarmstufe erhöht und somit weitere Wachen hinzugerufen. In diesem Video sieht man die Ausfahrt der Wache 5 mit Löschfahrzeug 205, Drehleiter 405, Einsatzleitwagen 1005 (der einzige der Stadt), GW-Atemschutz 1605. Weitere Einheiten der Feuerwehr sowie Rettungsdienst und Polizei waren ebenfalls unterwegs. Bei meiner Ankunft vor Ort war das Feuer bereits unter Kontrolle. Es scheint als wäre es durch Renovierungsarbeiten auf dem Dach ausgebrochen. Der Verkehr wurde durch die Rettungsarbeiten erheblich beeinträchtigt.

AMAZING catch!! You saw the Beast (1005) respond and everything! It's great that you can show many of Montréal's specialized units responding all in one video like this, as they're rarely captured on camera. I especially love the SPVM motorcycles, I've yet to see them going code like that! Thank you for the amazing content! 😁👌
