Not sure why, but that Michigan State Lottery music (at 9:28) scared me to death as a kid! Channel 7 would always show the Lottery numbers in the middle of the first commercial break in the newscast.

Me too Iam 42 now but back in 87 that music was sounding wicked. For some strange reason I like that music 😖😀

That's the only reason I looked this up! I was 10 in 87, and remember that music was even more freaky when my sister, and cousins would spend the night at grandma and grandpa's house. My grandparents lived in the northern part of Pontiac in the northwest intersection of Walton and Baldwin. Brooklyn Ave. Back then there was a huge field behind their house which made things even scarier!

The Prime interest rate was at 8%. WOW. I wish it was that now. I could move some money from this crazy stock market into this secure investment. Back when you were encouraged to save money.
