Helen, I love all your projects. I have made a cement plant container years ago, but it was nothing like yours. Will now try doing some like yours and paint them. I have a suggestion about the glass inside the flower pot you made. If you leave the glass container inside the pot, it would contain water better and would be easer to clean and would also seal the cement. No need to try to remove it and have all that broken glass to contend with.

Helen, I use two turntables in my clay studio. It makes it so easy to form my pieces and to glaze and or paint them, and it helps me to see all around my piece and be sure it looks like I want it to. I will be 76 this year and I'm gardening, making ceramics which I've been doing for 20 years, and knitting. And like you, im not stopping any time soon. Have a wonderful day 💁

Always innovating. Who would think to put glue on the sock or saran wrap on the top. Most would say, "Just can't do it this way."and give up. I do think though, that the glue attached through the sock to the glass and made getting the sock and glass out harder. Will still serve it's purpose as a planter if that glass never comes out. Amazed at the grapes and leaves, too. A new twist on your cement creations. Hope you sign and date the bottom of these. Cody's inheritance.
