Some are relating through relationship troubles and the like, but the song also captures the difficulty of living with bipolar disorder, or someone with it. Struggles rapidly come and go, the anger and pain are searing and scary, the sadness all encompassing, leaving you in bed for days, depending on the person, and even the happiness is fleeting. It's draining for us that live with it, and probably just as draining for those that we love. It's a rollercoaster, and many don't make it to the end of the ride. God bless all of you struggling (with any struggle, not just mental illness). And hang on, the ride is worth it all.

Being a girl that suffers from both Depression and anxiety I love this song.. I have felt every word of this song ! I JUST WISHED people were who they say they are and not quick to judge.. they always leave when you need them the most and worst is when you think you finally found someone that cared about ALL of you not just the " happy side " and you were starting to love yourself again they too leave and the cycle starts all over ... so hard to trust anyone which like I said is like throwing a match on a person with depression we burn to the ground & why I trust no one and battle these demons in my head alone..
