This why I said the government must invest more in the youth through music.Teach more youths to play instruments.Apart from becoming a gangster most jamaican youths are interested in music which is very marketable worldwide.Just like track and field don't be afraid to invest in music.more Bob Marley are around,just Give them the opportunity.
@bjvu9460
@bjvu9460 Жыл бұрын
The government didnt invest in bob marley, beenie man, bounty killer, sean paul, TOK, lady saw, capleton etc and for some reason they made it to the top . So, why would the government now need to invest in music when music had done well without them. The reason why music is creative is due to the fact that people invested in themselves and had to struggle to make it ... Bringing the government into the equation will only screw it up

Wyclef left out a MAJOR part of that Killing Me Softly story! Like the part where they used Roberta’s song without any permission! That resulted in a huge lawsuit where Columbia Records was ordered to sign over 100% of the publishing to Roberta and the other original song composers. So please take what Wyclef says with a huge grain of salt. He is omitting a few facts here and there🫣
