The answer is Tae and Kookie is the closest one because they always hang out together, go to play bowling and watching movies together with Tae's other friends, sometimes working out together too and Taekook always be their 1st supporter towards each other especially when it comes to their albums and comebacks. The company put V and Jimin in the same art high school while they were all living in the dorms and we're born the same year and roomed together for a bit but we're very noisy I guess so Jimin then roomed with J Hope, they were best friends and still are but since then V and Jungkook have become so close they are always together but Jimin is still very close with V and JK; they 3 hang out together still, V and JK developed a special bond and closeness that they understand each other so well. Jungkook was very shy when training started and was the youngest, he always states how V helped get him out of his shyness and admired him so much for his outgoing says so they learned to especially look out for each other.

The truth is different people will tell you different things. Many ARMY tend to hold on to one moment in time and ignore that friendships and relationships aren’t like a line. Jimin and V made a song after a big argument and in it said they are soulmates so many have held on to that as the gospel that they are the closest. Truth is we don’t know for sure. We do know they are all very close and my guess is they are closer to some at different times and the others at another time. It’s only natural.
