Well done, very simply wired. The only other thing that may be added is interlocking contacts between star and delta contactors. But I find it unnecessary with the timer.

In some regulatory contexts the interlocking is required. For UL508a applications see 33.5.2 and (for industrial machinery) 66.8.1.

fire pumps use these wye-delta starters and 6-wire motors - that's the only place I've seen this in almost 20 years of experience

Air Compressor Motors, for ever. Now you will see added VFD's that remove the need to "soft start". But they are very prevalent still.

Some larger tonnage chillers have wye delta start. Most are going to VFD’s but prior to VFD technology these were popular. Even if they aren’t new it doesn’t mean people don’t still work on them. Was working on one this morning and watched this to brush up on the transition so I could explain it to my apprentice. Great video
