I met Jen, and she was unbelievably kind. She signed a Roberto Bolaño book for my sister and I. I lost my sister 2 years ago, but this show was the last high point of her life. Thank you Wye Oak for that. Truly, with all of my heart, thank you.

There's this point in the song, about 2:40 minutes in, where after all this emotional build-up the song is suddenly hanging on for dear life, for a few seconds it's not clear if it completely disintegrates or if it somehow finds its way to a miraculous, glorious ending. These are the moments in music I live for. Thank you for this one.

Saw Wye Oak first time open up for Ben Howard in NYC 2018 then fast forward 2020 March in Brooklyn she has a concert which happened to be the same week NYC officially shutdown for covid and that was the las time i would be in a public setting until 2021. During that concert i actually ran into 2 guys that i had met and talked to during the Ben Howard concert where all three of us first witnessed Wye Oak and were the reasons all three of us happend to see Wye Oak Live.
