Seaworld Australia was open in 1981. Seaworld Australia is no way affiliated with the USA version of Seaworld. Seaworld Australia does not have any whales.
We visited Seaworld in March which is the shoulder season in Australia. We were staying close by in Surfers Paradise a 5-minute car ride away.
Visiting Seaworld Australia is one of the most popular attractions on the Gold Coast in Australia. Seaworld on the Gold Coast features rides, animal exhibits and other attractions. There are some roller coasters including the Storm Coaster and the Jet Rescue coaster as seen in our clip.
Seaworld Australia promotes conservation through education and the rescue and rehabilitation of sick, injured or orphaned wildlife. The stars of the Seaworld Dolphin show were all rescued and unable to be returned back into the wild.
Like all Gold Coast Theme Parks, the sky is the limit on activities that you can do if you have the money. Things such as swimming with sharks, dolphins and seals.
Jet Stunt Extreme and the Affinity Dolphin Presentation are just some of the shows presented daily at Seaworld Surfers Paradise

It's always interesting to see different marine parks around the world. I live near the notorious one in San Diego and still love what they are doing with animal rescue and research. We live and learn. They sure have. Nice to see that this version in the Gold Coast is trying to do the right thing.

Had no idea there was a Seaworld in Australia too! I would have totally thought it was affiliated with the US if you hadn't mentioned it. I always love watching dolphin shows. They are such cute and smart animals!

We loved visiting the Sea World in California. It's interesting that Seaworld Australia isn''t affiliated with the USA version. The jet ski show looked cool to watch! I would like to visit the Seaworld on the Gold Coast to compare the parks.

SeaWorld is on the Gold Coast is fun for the whole family. I'd forggotten they had those cute penguins are cute. I don't remember the jetski roller coaster. Is that new?

We had no idea that Seaworld Australia wasn't affiliated with the USA version! And it's cool that they don't have whales! Would a visit last the full day or maybe just half a day?
