Well Terry was a teenager in Batman Beyond and he was very skinny compared to Bruce, he was also a lot smaller. Even with the long ear mask he was never taller than this old Bruce. So I think the scale it's ok, the biggest problem of the Beyond figure I think it's you cannot put his arms up and that eliminates a lot of emblematic poses. Also being too fragile like you said in your video. Good Review btw!

thanks for your input! ya this definitely is a batman beyond figure of terry when he was like.. a freshmen or whatever youngest age he was. (starting out) but for myself, i always prefer and like terry when hes a bit bigger. thanks for watching!

i think they're all good in their own way! BTAS was a classic on its own.. The New adventures was awesome b/c it brought out new characters and new stories, and more interesting fight scenes and animations. and Beyond was just on its own living up to a big mantle and was great!

I just got my figures recently and, my Batman figure has a scratch or paint mark on his left rib. Is there any way to clean it up or remove? Because I'm afraid of damaging the figure if I don't consult with more experienced collectors.

I wish these figures were articulated better. The waists could easily be waist joints instead of waist twists. Waist joints like Mafex, SH Figuarts and some Star Wars Black Series and the Doctor Strange Marvel Legends. They wouldn't have to sacrifice the sculpt for double jointed elbows and bicep swirls. They could easily give the figures double jointed knees, high thigh swivels and t-jointed hips like DC Icons or Marvel Legends. These figures are banking off of nostalgia for the Timmverse and it pisses me off how lack luster these are when the Designer Series, Arkham figures and DC Icons are generally well sculpted and articulated.

agreed, these figures are ONLY banking off nostalgia from the old cartoons,.. in all honestly they are decent figures, but they're horrible in reality compared to Marvel legends or even dc ICONS.. and we're not going to even compare them to SH Figuarts/mafex etc. etc. lol

WylunCustoms it's like they can say "we don't want to break the sculpt" but it shouldn't have a few more points of articulation than a Justice League Unlimited figure

As a collector of dozens of different lines and companies..this series (along with the NECA cartoon Turtles) are my top two favourite lines of figures. I think they're pure perfection; capturing the cartoon aesthetics perfectly. The younger kids are just too picky and spoiled with wanting every figure to be like double-jointed gymnasts. You can still get these in action poses, but they look amazing just standing there with their turnaround bases.

If you do a custom using Body Kun don't forget to use some sculpting clay to sculpt his arm spikes.

Thank god someone knows how to do a review. Jay C's review was good, but I watched his already & i was looking for another opinion/look @the figure. I watched 3 entirely shitty reviews leading up to this review. But I appreciate you going over articulation & having a focused HD camera.. These other boneheads today didn't show any articulation & 1 just complained while he was out of focus whole review. •●( Bummer Batman's lower body's fragile maybe a hairdryer 1st, i wont have to worry hes fragile? Idk that's what I'm hoping. Im contemplating if I wanna spend the 39.99 on the set or spend $$ on Dark Crystal set. YES u heard that right ;) Preordered @ BBTS last toyfair *2016* SOON as it went up for preorder. When 1st announced it. They had this set +Dark Knight Returns set for 39.99 each. I was stupid & canceled DKR set without realizing the price increase if I wanted it again. Good job on review I'm still undecided any suggestions?

Terry should be a little taller than that. i dunno...can't remember. i thought he was only about half a head shorter than the old man Bruce. so much nostalgia from this line, but so much crappy articulations...lol

yes he should be!! i've actually been getting alot of backlash and people are telling me he should be small.... hm... well he was listed ast 5'10 170lbs in the show.. and you see him duking it out w/ big guys all the time. its not like hes a child or a little kid! i saw in many episodes. he just look like a normal sized human being.. decently average for a normal man lol. A MAN. not a 13 year old 5'5 125lb kid.

WylunCustoms ikr he was freaking 17 in the show. That's basically full grown, idk why they did this but they made dick Grayson robin way too small as well. he was in college in btas but looks 13 next to Batman.

This is poorly reviewed. I had to agree with the quality control issues from DC Collectibles, but to say that the details were too small or joints were too thin? It's because they were based on the works of Bruce Timm (BTAS/TNBA/JL Animated Series). There are instances that the sculptor or the artist of the figure are compromised to lessen the articulation that might affect the final look of the figure. If you wanted a less accurate look, with complete articulation, a bulky-anatomically incorrect body proportion because of their modular body-sculpt, then go to MATTEL. One more thing. Those customs of yours were so bad, and I'm so sorry for being honest. There's still room for improvements tho. Have a nice day!

lol you have alot of honest input and its fine! thanks for checking out the review! but in all honestly the joints on the batman are very thin, if you have held it yourself and moved the leg joints.. its horrible. and ya, its sacrifice for sculpt due to it being based off the cartoon so accurately. Even though accuracy is heavily favored on these figures, its a fair point for me to point out the short comings on the figure.. thats just me being honest.. OR I can just be like "oh this figure is awesome he looks so cool, he moves, oh his leg broke ohw ell who cares, he looks exactly like how he does in the cartoon yay!" lol.. i would think peopel would like to know those kind of things.. especially from another perspective. just like how you are somewhat being a reviewer of my work and customs, just being honest right! take care!
