Wyndham Grand Desert Las Vegas - All Suites, Full Kitchen, & Laundry!

We tried out the Wyndham Grand Desert Las Vegas for the first time! It's a timeshare property, but you can book cash or with Wyndham points. These are all apartment style suites ranging from one to four bedrooms! And with that you get all of the comforts of home with a full kitchen and laundry. Take a tour with us and see what we thought.

I stayed at the Polo Towers back in the 90's but didn't do the timeshare presentation , Wasn't bad for the first time

Melissa you look so cute in your tangerine colored top & sunglasses. Perfect outfit for summer and this video. It screams summer time ☀️ The resort looked nice , clean and comfortable. The pools were nice as well . I have only stayed once at a timeshare in Palm Springs, CA . It was okay, but the stress of sales people wanting 90 mins of your time . Spoiled it at least for me . Did you ever find out what the giveaway was ? Thumbs Up on this one

I have all of those amenities in my RV except for laundry. I have to wait for it to rain In the Walmart parking lot so that it can create a puddle to do my laundry and take a swim CMON MAN

We stayed at Tahiti Village doing a family trip. Really enjoyed it, even considered purchasing, but just didn't make sense when we could just rent from an owner, and not be tied to a yearly contract.

Wyndham did the same thing to us at Oceanside property. We denied the free gift offer also. We are already owners and don’t want to buy more points. We already did update meetings twice for $150 American Express gift card at Grand Desert and Lake Tahoe.

My BIL has a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare at Elara, and we stayed there last trip. Very luxurious property and good location. Made the rookie mistake of going with him to the presentation where they were “updating” him on some changes to his membership. Happy to stay there again on our next trip, but he’s on his own if he wants to go to another presentation LOL.

That’s part of the issue. Even after you buy, they want you to upgrade over and over 😂 I have learned in Cancun (almost all have timeshares) I can book via a member, save money, and get their perks. No obligation to attend a presentation!

It's funny to see how much comfort and peace you can get going just a bit off Strip or Fremont... There are seating areas!!! With cushions, wow! Have you guys considered reviewing Tuscany Casino? I see about the same kind of vibe, but with a casino, more choice of food and without the Time share annoyance... 9:49

Are we allowed to take our own drinks down to the grill area, or is that serviced by the bar? Also, do they check bags when you go into the pools?

They didn’t check anything. It feels more like a community pool than a Vegas hotel pool and I don’t think anyone will care if you bring your own drinks.

I have a Wyndham card. How do rates compare to the strip?

If you gamble and get casino offers, you’re more likely to get a better deal on the strip. If you’re paying full rates, anywhere off strip is typically a bit cheaper. I think it’s a great option for longer trips with having the kitchen or with kids since it’s not a typical Vegas hotel with a casino. We like using Wyndham points when rates on the strip are crazy. Keep in mind too that Caesar’s is partners with Wyndham and you can use points at their hotels too. If you get the Wyndham business earner card, you can match your status to Caesars rewards to get Diamond status. You won’t pay resort fees or parking!

For something like this, I might just call them. Most Vegas hotels do open pools early March but this hotel is not a typical Vegas hotel.

Did A Couple Time Share Presentations There It's A Nice Facility, Our Next Trip To Vegas When We Were Approached We Said Were Not Interested And They Were Very Aggressive And Just Kept Trying All Sorts Of Offers Shows Buffets Etc, Then They Offered Us Like Legit $400 Or 500 In Freeplay Vouchers For Flamingo And So We Did It Again 😁
