I think this type of cuisine is more for the refined taste and not for the average joe. It is worth a try just to experience it. The price is not overly expensive for the Wynn and the way the food is brought out is pretty good.

I laughed so much with this video. I thought that after eating the spicy chicken they brought out a chicken nugget that was not spicy. I thought they offered a second option.😅 You're right it was dim sum, a very pricey dim sum. Thanks Danny for your review.

Just visited Chin Chin buffet this week and they have downsized the items, but have added some items since your last visit. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the new items... I think you need a another visit soon.

I always stay at Wynn Encore when I go to Las Vegas . I agree La Cave gives you a gourmet brunch experience and the Buffet gives you breakfast . I personally prefer Jardins at Encore for breakfast. You have the gourmet or the basic breakfast. Good job as always #wulffdendad

IMHO Butler service is not worth it. Way too much effort was made to upscale the experience. Next time just go to the buffet and enjoy all the soft drinks and coffee that are included.

But I had the most disappointing buffet there. I paid top dollar and got meh serving of meh food. They have good desserts though.

yea I agree with you on places like this. Its basically pretentiousness that they charge you for. Pretension should be free. I want to open a restaurant where I use quality ingredients but I fake the pretentiousness. The waiters would walk around in shirts with a fake tuxedo printed on it and when they bring you the food they would say "mi lady" or "sir" in a aweful fake British accent. All that without the higher charge

A bizarre $54.00 lunch at La Cave. I watched until the end to see if there was anything you liked. I do enjoy the eating out more for the experience than the food so maybe I will try it one day, but Chick-filet is my usual budget limit. I am also a slow eater, so I would easily use my 90-minute limit.

"People with too much money, they have to do weird stuff." Truer words have never been spoken. The other fact is that a place like that would never survive outside of a Strip hotel, because only at a Strip hotel do you have an endless stream of people who haven't had it before. I see "concept" restaurants open and then quickly close all the time.

I wonder how much you have to "lose" to get a room comp at Wynn? I never got a comp there lol. I get comped at Caesars (almost any tower if available) after about 1500 inserted registered on the players card. Nothing is cheap at The Wynn and it's the casino where no one asks what the price is anywhere. The parking lot is filled with Mercedes, Lexus, and higher priced cars. It;s like $ 359.00 a night lol . The Buffet there is excellent and fairly priced considering all the choices. BTW-the #1 thing to know is NEVER eat Hollandaise at the casino Brunch because it has usually been sitting there premade for many hours. And that information comes from the servers.

@@dannythemedic Yeah dont have a WYNN app.I have to check that..but when I said a room is 359.00 thats a WEEK DAY its like 579.00 on friday and Saturday PLUS resort fees lol.. I had Dec 10-22 booked at Augustus Tower at Caesars for a total of only about 400.00 (Resort fee and taxes)..but I had to cancel due to a health issue. Try for MARCH to come back. I will still eat at WYNN though...excellent food and service is much better. I imagine I'd have to lose about 5K before WYNN would start emailing me offers lol.

Personally, I downloaded the menu to see what was on the menu. Honestly, there is no way that menu is worth $53. Honestly, there is not a dish that I could NOT prepare at home and I could control the quality of the ingredients. Do you have any recommendations for dim sum at a reasonable price??

First of all, let me say Dan, that you look like and somewhat act like one of Charles Shulz's characters. Charlie Brown's Asian cousin come to life. I don't mean this in a mean way, those characters are cute and worth watching. I love your videos. Secondly, I have to thank you for taking one for the team (TOFT), us average joe's don't need to visit the "dim sum" style breakfast for that price. Heck, most times for myself, breakfast is a cup of coffee or two. That should have been complimentary with that meal!!!
