The helmet and chestplate at 6:53 were made with pure quartz which was nerfed in 1.20. The accessories at 14:20 were made with ancient coins as the main xp ingredient.

This is pretty neat, but you had all the gear set up and pre-crafted, and a bunch of high-level players helping out. I want to see the speedrun where you have NO aid, a complete solo run with no prepared gear. I would also be interested in a party speedrun, where you have your party members but all of them have to be new players with no prepared gear.

While I’ve thought about doing similar challenges in the past, here’s why I probably wouldn’t do them: 1. It would take a very long time 2. Wouldn’t be super entertaining content 3. I don’t have the time or motivation to plan something like that.

being closer to leveling up when finishing a dungeon causes some xp calculation error to occur giving you more xp. the point of toggling gxp is to make so that i can be as close to leveling up as possible without actually leveling up.

The gear is all crafted xp gear, the recipes took a while to make. The trick with herb cave is to use 2 mob totems and drag half of them over to one side so we can get x2 mobs

all the armor was crafted and the ingredients were nerfed, there are other recipes that work now (i don't have them all available rn) it is a HUGE time save even when leveling up normally! what takes someone a whole day to get from 1-105 can take a couple of hours at most.

Please explain to me why grabbing op items from an echest in the very beginning isn’t cheating. I think you should call this any% New Game Plus or NG+ since you basically start with the best horse and incredible items right off the bat, where speedruns in any other minecraft category or any other actual any% run ever starts with absolutely nothing.

There is an any% no bank mode on the speedrun.com leaderboards. However a run with no bank (includes player trading) is significantly longer and less interesting to watch (for a majority of new and old players). Also I’m trying to speedrun an MMO to what is considered max level. That type of run isn’t really popular since it isn’t viable for a lot of people. The whole point of the speedrun was to push the game to its very limits in what is considered possible, and not really a viable game to consistently speedrun. It’s not meant to guide and this speedrun should be a enjoyed as entertainment. It’s also why I’ve done only 3 speedruns of this And I probably have other replies explaining the same thing if you want to read more about it. Hope this helps
