I seen some comments, and yes, the "crystal" looking rocks are quartz. The lines in those rocks you found are from different types of stone being pressed together and hardening into 1 rock like that. It happens alot.

I think the first thing white rock may be quartz..the brownish orange smooth ones looks like sandstone and the purple one possibly amethyst..just guessing.
