Narrator's Note: My pronunciation of words pertaining to bug descriptors has changed, to everyone's liking, and will persist into the future. I accept my fault on that and apologies for my ignorance based on incorrect references and teachings from my youth. However, it seems my pronunciation of 'Ichor' happens to be correct after much research - but apologies to those who may find it odd to their listening experience as I persist with that pronunciation. Oddities in pronunciation among regions and countries are fascinating to observe and learn.

I like the irony of the mechanicus throwing themselves into an acid bath and saying 'the survival of the species is more important than the survival of the individual', when both of those are key identifying traits of the tyranids they're fighting.
@minhducnguyen9276 Жыл бұрын
Not to mention that the mechanicus are one of the most individualistic faction in the imperium. Even techpriest backstab each other all the time.

@@DaughterOfDrakes The Magos said there was another with a transceiver receiving his cogitator information seemingly similar to how Belisarius might be doing so. Not sure about the Datasmith and what information may be lost by her passing, but she may have a backup to. But it does seem odd for a a one way ticket kind of thing be done and no way out. But again the writing for the Grim Dark is so like that, no happy endings. It's just that so much loss with no happy endings suggests this should be over in about 10000 years or so, with Humanity taking an L because it can breed it's way out of the losses, but that technically goes for the Traitors as well, they suffer huge losses just living in the warp let alone fighting the loyalists, yet could fight 13 Black Crusades, and seem to have limitless personnel even when they're constantly killing themselves and being killed. Hell just being part of Team Nurgle is a death sentence after a fashion, and yet without being "reborn" their number is without limit. Sure there are those "convinced" to join, but most die from contact with the contagions, so the list of incoming raw recruits isn't going to be naturally high, but every story sees legion as the invaders coming in and the world also becomes infected with people dying, not joining, but becoming goo. This is the closest I've seen to a happy ending, and that's only because they could have left the planet with the remaining forces, the Mechanicus, but chose not to because they don't fear death?! Not sure where the logic\\wisdom is early-graving on this mission is, sacrificing the castellans and such when normatively capture and exfiltration is the order of the day for study of such import, even if they don't leave the system, kiting them by ship, to complete the study and then bouncing with the stolen data. Staying on planet and wasting materiel on scorched earth in a know Kobe Yoshi Maru seems illogical, like there was a little bit of that weakness of flesh poking out, if from no one else, a misstep on the writers part because if forces a suspense of disbelief which breaks immersion. But I ain't one to gossip... .

You have a great narrator voice! But I think a way to improve is try to sound less "bored" in your reading, and change the tone and timbre of your voice from situation to situation. It does tend to sound a bit monotonous. If you work on that a bit, I think you'll be a great narrator. Your reading and pronunciation are really 👌
