Guys scratch killing level 50 Scorchbeasts. Just do the: Leader of the Pack event in the top left of the map near the amusement park. You can get 3 commendations in less than 10 minutes + some nice legendary gear as well. Rinse and repeat...done. Like the comment so others can see!

Great Video Dude, I was Foolish and didnt know where to find the Scematics for the Prototype X-01 Armor, so i thought i had to send a Nuke, so as a lvl 20 Player i went into this level 40 Zone and Broke my brain over it, then when i finally got to the nuke room after about 4 Days of suffering, i didnt have the Nuke Code anymore, i Cried that day XD. Gave up on it until i stubled upon this, very greatful, thanks :)

You can also farm the brotherhood headquarters, which will start the event "line in the sand" where you have to repair a sonic generator, and keeping it alive while fighting scorched and scorchbeasts. Pretty easy to do as level 40 and you get 3 promotions every time.

There are some military camps in the north region of Cranberry of the city where you showed the SAM. These locations have two SAMs launchers​. There is a Fissure nearby, so lure a Scorch beast over. This is just from memory though.

Also, all these quests are apart of the main questline, towards the end. I did not jump around doing these early. I did do Bootcamp early as I stumbled upon it in my lvl 20's. Which you end up going to anyways from the brotherhood quest. But if you do them already, you skip that phase as you already did them. So when watching videos and you get different quests from what they get and you have to do an extra one, they already did it and did not realize it was apart of another min quest. I got confused watching a brotherhood quest line being done in a video, they went to bootcamp. I was trying to figure out what I missed as I was not getting it. Was because I already did it!

Well the community has been sharing a lot about what junk can be found where in high quantities, using workshops will help a lot as well as knowing what you need and where to get it. Not sure how it compares to the full suit of level 50 Ultracite armor I got. It was a reward I think for finishing the Brotherhood of Steel missions. It showed up as a second power frame in my inventory, but when I placed it it was a full set (yes you can store a complete suit of power armor in your inventory and it still only weighs 10 pounds). The defence on it was something crazy like 550/455/455. The sad thing is I still use my Excavator armor (which is at level 45) and it has only 250/250/350 (or something close to that). The reason why I stick it is because I get an extra 100 pounds carrying capacity and as a bonus it doubles any ore you extract. Stripped down my carry load is about 230 pounds and that is 2 guns, about 400 rounds for those guns, 10 stimpacks and 10 Radaways, probably 15 drinks and food, and maybe 4 fusion cores.... oh and a spear (about 83 damage and medium speed). I am now at level 52 and I have that and a maxed out level 50 silenced shotgun (123 damage) and sniper rifle (104 damage). I also finally got some better turrets for my camp, the second machine gun turret and the shotgun turret (have not tried this second one yet. I have a lot of plans and recipes because for the last 3 days I have been focussing heavily on completing mission and events... and I figured out everything about the workstations now and find them useful... especially ones with junk deposits as they mine springs, screws, lead, ceramics, cloths, plastic... This is the only one I really need to mine as all the rest are pretty easy to find. I have to throw out resources all the time. I try to keep no more than 100 or anything but wood, and steel. Throw away mods as they take up 1 pound each. Fusion cores are 3 pounds, missiles are 2 pounds, and mini nukes are 6 pounds. I did get a Fat Man MIRV that only weighs 6 pounds from the Enclave I think. I have completed the Enclave, the Brotherhood of Steel, the Order of Mysteries, the Responders, the Raiders (Rose), and the Free State. I made my first run at a silo and it did not go well. I made it quite aways in, but my weapons were falling apart, I ran out of stimpacks, and I was low on ammo. After 3 tries I gave up. I made it in and destroyed about 75% of the mainframe too. I think I will run tomorrow to get resources to repair everything and build up my stock of plasma grenades and stimpacks and go down there and swap to my Ultracite power armor as it is way stronger than the excavator armor. Hopefully I can finish this time. Some of the stuff I do not think I will need to do as I already have the ID made up and all the codes. I need to get it done though as the codes supposadly reset Tuesday. I will probably start by building a couple of workbenches with junk resources and rotate around.

General mission, Any legendary and boss counts ( at least Wendigo counts as a boss type, 100% sure about it) so doing whitespring 3-4 times will complete the quest

I sneaked pass the Deathclaws and the first nest i found the Holotape and didn't remembet i had to use it before the Elevator would work until i had killed the Deathclaws, luckily a level 30 followed me into the cave not short after and helped me turn the odds against the Deathclaws.

The real secret to scorched beasts is try to stay close to it while it's flying. Which makes it land more often. Then face fuck it with a melee weapon.

If you want you can also go into the atomic shop and get the x-01 paint for like 1000 atomic points or what not

Note that the code isn’t always the same. Mine was the one listed in the video but my friend’s wasn’t. There’s random dates found on pieces of paper in the filing cabinets. Marriage date, divorce date, etc. The painting is also different for different players.
