I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 and it had a security feature that when you had a chip plugged into the obd2 port the truck would start but I have lost the chip and now it won’t start. Have you heard of this type of security feature and how can I fix it or bypass it?

Second part somewhere in the circuit that has to be removed. Find an alarm installer to remove the part.

interested in how this works , i would buy one if it can do most basic vehicles. i had an offshore one prior , the silca sbb , it would never be able to connect to anything...i got rid of it..so if i can find a good , with the preparation of spending more money , i am interested...look forward to the review

The day I got mine calls for car keys ceased to come in. I've only gotten to play with it away from vehicles. I like that it converts Nissan codes without needing an internet connection.
