What if I just want to pull out the first two section of the legs with thicker diameter? Looks like you only can pull out the whole leg

This tripod locking system is useless on uneven surface. Too difficult to adjust the right length of the legs. When you want change the length you must lift up all the tripod (with the gear on the top) to reach the bottom of the legs (adjusting knob)! Not for real life! I want this kind of travel tripod with lever locks each sections!

@@talpalatnyizold Ulanzi makes a few, but those are heavier, less portable, carry less load, and are more expensive.

The ball head with claw super quick release (Ulanzi) should be added to this series. It is so much easier to use. It's the reason I didn't buy this tripod. I love its leg mechanism but I love the claw head more.

Can you make a tripod that's similar to the Sactler Flowtech 75? Those legs unlock from a latch on the top.
