Not sure if you are into aircraft carrier landings or helicopter landings on the X-Plane frigate but I just added a feature to X-Camera 2.4.1 beta that allows you to place cameras on those ships.

I think I may have missed it or it wasn't mentioned but don't forget to turn off Auto Select Nearest camera when you want to continue working on the Airport Cameras. Otherwise, X-Camera will always force you to use the nearest camera which may not necessarily be the camera you're working on.

Again, very nice tutorial, Mark. I see in this video that you are in a Cessna 172SP but it has two Garmin G5's. What model are you using that has G5's? However latter on in the video when you are in the air, and in Cockpit Views, The G5's are't turned on, I guess...nothing on either display. Love my X-Camera, and v 2.4 looks great!!

You can get the G5 gauges here: www.x-aviation.com/catalog/product_info.php/afm-instruments-p-163 The reason they were not on is I had recorded this flight on my flight sim system and then tried to play it back on my development machine where I made the video. I don't think I had the key properly installed for the gauge. I also think that Air Manager has a G5 now but I have not tried it. Mark

Mark, I am unable to change the lua script id in x-camera. Can you think of a reason why I am unable to do that. Great tutorials by the way.

Thanks for the tutorials. How do i find the toggle target camera button? Its not showing in the mini control panel.

It has to be an external camera and then the "Toggle Target Following" button will show up in the top row of the Mini Control Panel. Mark

Hey Mark- As you tell with my questions, I have been away from X-Camera for a while. I had it disabled for a while. Why? I don't know. I reenabled and glad I did. Great plugin. So many features and views that are available. Now, On Airport File, Create Airport File, I noticed in you airport, KLEB, you have 4 airports in your vicinity as shown. Can I show more airports. In other words, Can I increase the range to show more? 3 miles from my airport to say 25 to 30 miles within a perimeter? And if I make a camera free standing and it probably wouldn't make sense but can I put on a moving target like a bus a car or a train?

The reason it shows you the few close by airports is that X-Camera can not tell exactly what airport you are at. A good example of this is you may be trying to create cameras for a large airport but your plane is parked closer to a heliport at the airport than the airport center. I needed to allow you to pick what you meant. This issue only crops up when you have heliports or other facilities co-located with a very large airport. If you want to create an airport file for an airport 30 miles away just load your plane at that airport. If you are trying to do something else let me know. Mark
