'In the mid to late 90's, X-Dream very quickly established themselves as the premier psychedelic trance production team and artist deluxe of the Scene. If Simon Posford (Hallucinogen) is the 90's electronic Jimi Hendrix, X-Dream are Led Zeppelin. I remember being in LA and San Francisco when 'Radio' came out and played the cd in the open-top sports car very loud, down the state's Pacific highway and thinking this was one of the best recordings I'd ever heard. 'During a 2006 BBQ at Boshke Headquarters in Spain, Richard Blur and I decided to make a tribute album for one of the most inspirational trance acts of all time, X-Dream. 'X-Dream. I will never forget the first time i discovered them. It was a huge moment. It was 1993, I was in Rough Trade, my local record shop, and I put the needle on the record of X-dreams '5th Dimension'. Oh my God, WTF? Who was this? Rough and Rush? Who are these guys? A new sound jumped out and became an obsession from that point on. They have been at the forefront of the trance movement ever since they started and everything they have done has never been less than brilliant.
