On another note, Alexis took a big leap for women's skateboarding and that's always good. There's obviously more men skateboarding around the world than there is women and women don't have as many years into the sport as men (well not as much is what I mean). So hopefully the sport will grow for them... as a matter of fact for everyone!

I don't want to seem like I'm hating on women in skateboarding, but if you even pay the slightest attention to all of the women's skateboarding in the X-Games, every single line goes something like this: >kick flip >kick flip or an ollie >ollie or a boardslide >50-50 with either a 180 or a kick flip Every Fucking Time.

I hate to admit it, but it's kinda true what you're saying... I personally think it has to do with the male and female hormones and the shape of our bodies. Men automatically have more muscular legs, torso, and arms with the same physical training as women. And I think the hips play an import role when jumping or ollieing (probably spelled that wrong) in the air. Men get more air and thus allowing them to expand their tricks while women, with bigger hips, don't get as much air.

i have respect 4 women skaters and this girl aint bad but ive noticed all women skating is mostly the same, kick flip is not the only flip trick there is, what about heelflips,hardflips,varial flips etc is there sumthin in the genes that wont allow girls to do these tricks cus i refuse to believe that. type in to the search Jun Freestyle sk8 shes a mullen immatator 4 sure but at least shes trying different tricks, i predict her to be the next big thing, if she continues to improve. shes like 15
