@@Tedphoenician Hate rap or not, the real ones know lyrics on a far superior level than most other genres. OGs of rap have songs, at the very least, that deserve respect. EDIT* On the instrumental front, covering beats like this definitely allows some flexing room. But then again there's producers, like El-P of Run the Jewels, who make amazingly intricate beats. El, for instance has done every beat on all of their albums, and they're all unique.
