I can think of only one simple reason why this guy is so slept on or so "under the radar" and it's simply the name he chose as his rapper name and/or moniker. It's legit hard to even find his music even if you're specifically looking for it because "X" is so vague. You can even put "X rapper" and you'll see DMX, Lil Nas X, XXXTentacion, etc. Everything except this guy. You need to actually type "Itsxmusic" to find these. And the algorithm doesn't pick up none of his freestyles. I swear. A simple name change and this guy would get the notoriety he deserves or at least significantly more. IMHO it's a massive reason why he's so incredibly slept on. He's SOOO good that it makes no sense for him not to have at least blown up in the underground scene. Either way. He's a very special talent. The use of multi-syllabic rhyming and internal rhymes, word play, metaphors, cohesiveness of his verses (he's not just saying random things that rhyme) and just straight up catchy-ness of his flow is all top top notch. Even if this guy didn't blow up as an artist himself I think at VERY LEAST he should be ghostwriting for some of today's top rappers. The talent is beyond evident. Hard to argue with that. He's damn near flawless with this style. Cadence and voice too. Confidence, and clearly a person who loves the craft in itself which is evident in his sheer skill which I'm sure is a mix of talent but also hard hard work. It's a shame he's not bigger. Like Hopsin said "MC's who got the most talent in the whole planet don't never get recognized when they dope at it. So they go back to the block hustlin' the dope addicts, some ni****s got the "it" factor, some n****s don't have it" This dude would have blown up with a name change and a gimmick. (Unfortunately a lot of rappers blow up due to some sort of gimmick. Including Hopsin himself, but I don't see a problem with it as they both have the skill to back it) X .. if you're reading this. COME BACK. You're never too old to make music. You're insanely talented .. I wish you kept putting these out. I've watched all these free's like 100x straight up over the years. Your flow is NASTY and the multi's are just so incredible. That's one of the hardest things to do as a rapper is create multi's that flow well but most importantly that make SENSE. Not just random words being rhymed. Either way, thank you for these freestyles that have helped keep me entertained over the years, but also helped teach me how to improve in my own writing and multi-syllabic and internal rhymes.
