i will never forget when Toshi came out as the "guest" vocalist for Yoshiki's classical in San Fran and sang the beginning of IV...it was insanely beautiful, surreal...he didn't even need a mic. ppl who were there out of curiosity (season subscriber ppl) were astounded, and even more when all the fans in that gorgeous concert hall were balling their eyes out. ill never forget....

The quality if the sound ... It must be just wonderful Thank You beautiful show 🌷💕
I was a about 6 rows behind you in the same area/side. I also have some footage, and pictures. I'm sure you remember the people posing for pics at the lobby, and the projection in the ceiling. I'll never forget those memories. In the end when they narrated their story & about making it big, and the dream of filling a venue in America someday(which they did). Thanks for sharing a different point of view. "!!!WE ARE X!!!"

The fun fact would be that once X Japan finally learns english to tackle the english market, japanese is completely go-able as a language to perform in xD

Both Toshi and Yoshiki can speak English...heck Orgasm is in English...but they both have a heavy accent...which made my friend Keiji Mutoh (aka the Great Muta...we were Jump School partners) roll about laughing when he introduced me to them in 1989...I'm from Georgia and for whatever reason my Southern accent really comes out when I'm outside of the South...most people think I'm from Kansas or Ohio when I ask them to guess)...so you have me, sounding like an extra on "In the Heat of the Night" having a conversation with the band and the main thing you hear is "Could you say that again" constantly...

Com o olvidar esa noche Yoshiki, si fue una de las mas marivillosas e historica que vivimos los fans X , gracias por estar alli my X Family , Ilove all you, i love X too
I don't get it.. Why is not much peoples enjoying each times when X performing. Even on hits songs.. It's beyond what I'm imagine. Totally different like any other X's concerts before. Well it's totally a HUGE differences if I wanna compare to any of Japan shows. If I was there, I'm totally gonna rock out with X. It's not like you gonna see them everyday! Plus I'm paying for the tix so I wanna have a good time!

Tifyna Yusof --Well because a lot of people don't know them and the radio stations don't play there music here,And for the people that where there for the 1st time wanted to enjoy the music first before going crazy like they do in japan,im sure if they was more popular here with the metal crowd if would have been crazy too,it's nothing against the band is the radio station that rather play pop crap music all day,i love this band personally.

I've been a fan for the last 32 years and one of the things that drives my wife crazy is that whenever we meet somebody new, within 15 minutes I'm playing some X Japan...made a bunch of fans but it still drives my wife of 22 years bonkers...

MSG does not look that big. About the same as Lanxess Arena maybe even smaller.
@marshabarrett16697 жыл бұрын
it holds 20,789 people, so to them its a very small venue, especially since they have sold out the 55,000 seat tokyo dome 18 times,

It's the fact that it's MSG...one of, if not, the most famous arenas in the world...like the old saying about how to play Carnegie Hall implies you *have* to be worthy of playing in the same arena as the greats have played...and remember in at horrid 1998 American bastardization of Godzilla even the most famous alumni of Yokohama High school (according to another alumni, Mark Hamill...think about it...God-freaking-zilla is more famous than Luke Skywalker and "Mistah J" 😉) had to visit MSG...the arena that gave birth to Hulkamania...even my Georgia born and raised self visited MSG to see the Rockettes and I'm allergic to places that won't allow me to provide self security and rarely goes north of the Mason/Dixon line for the last 30 years took my son there when he was 10 for a Yo Yo Ma concert (he plays the Cello)...
