X-Laser Mercury laser control demo (Avolites console)

Oh sweet Jesus. I’m just now dabbling into lasers and wasn’t sure how much control my Avolites Titan Mobile would have. I need this laser. You don’t understand how many times I verbally said “oh my God. That’s amazing.” Nice product.

From swamidog and Jason's rave interviews, checked out X-Laser's products, docs, and now this demo of Mercury. Gotta compliment you all for having such legit products, reasonable prices, and decades worth of professional experience. Just getting ready to build my 3rd custom projector, with the best components I can get and wondering why I should bother, while you already have it OTC, plus with Mercury's zone capabilities via DMX. My MIDI controlled laser synth is the equivalent to your 'gobos' 🤔 Why not correctly call them stored images, then just tell the LDs to pretend they're using lighting gobos? Then, there's those 'digital prisms', instead of 'multiple images'. We invented our own terms, back in the day. Beam Torquers, Beam Choppers, Pick-off Mirrors, Fiber Juice, etc. Come on, guys. Images are nothing like gobos, nor are multiple images the same as digital prisms. 🤷‍♂JS Anyway, as it happens, I'm currently building a custom master image control panel for up to 4 projectors, from scratch and guess what it has? Having never seen Mercury until now, I'm looking at a 10" touchscreen for multipage dual GUI controls (2D touchpads for color, position, size, intensity, etc), 4 RGB buttons (to select touch pages of functionality), a rotary encoder w/detents, and a 600pps precision rotary encoder for each projector's output channel (just like your lighting desk). The only difference is that I'm using MIDI with a customized Reaper DAW timeline to replace LSX and . Different strokes by different folks, for the same objective, making great eye candy. Great work for 'the team'!😎

We appreciate the feedback! It's cool to see how people are creating different workflows that work best for them. At the end of the day, that's the way to go.

I cant see my X-Lasers on Capture integrated in my Titan Mobile, but they are well patched, and I see the attribute, is this normal ?

Unfortunately the version of Capture that comes with the titan mobile does not permit laser feeds. Sorry!
