I wish we could see where you’re drilling better. Thanks for putting this out there either way.

I apologize for that. If you order the kit, you can lay the bars in place and see exactly where to drill just make sure you stay towards the center of the a-arm (thickness wise) and it'll be ok. Some people say it weakens the a arm and it's going to break easier but I've never broke an a-arm on this truck yet and I have another x-maxx that I did not install sway bars on and I have broke a arms on that truck. I think this sway bars help during a crash situation it limits the travel. 🤷Just my opinion

@@myrclife I’ve got two sets in a parts bin that I’ve never tried to install. Are you threading into the plastic? Or is there a lock nut that goes behind the arm?

Thanks for the video, now to order some sway bar links for my Xmaxx!

It is a noticeable difference forsure. Someone commented and said I was stupid because of the way I installed them (drilling a hole in the a-arm) but that's exactly what the directions say to do and I've never had had one of my a-arms break because of it either. Now who's the stupid one. Lol. I hope you like your sway bar.

Any before and after vids of the benefits?

I should actually do a video on the benefits of having a sway bar. All I can say is it definitely does not want to tip over nearest much high-speed turned in maneuvering. I definitely like the sway bar.

The kits says now to only to be used with the HR lower arms..guess cause of the factory hole they put in it

I'm not sure. My kit just said to drill a hole in the original arms

Damm cool will I have to drill a hole in my aluminum a arm? We will find out...
@myrclife Жыл бұрын
I also have a 2nd xmaxx that is fitted with a Kershaw designs chasis and aluminum a-arms and i drilled hole will be needed to fit the sway bar onto the truck. I thought about a drilled & tapped rather than a straight though with a nut on the other side. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Drilling a hole in that a arm is exactly where it's going to break
@myrclife2 жыл бұрын
That's what the instructions say to do! I've launched this thing repeatedly out of the skate park, ran it up the side of a tree and did backflips, and just plain abused this thing and never broke an a-arm. It's not like i drilled all the way through the arm it's just one very small 1/16-in hole. I seen what your first comment said as well I don't know if you deleted it or what but I seen what you called me and I don't appreciate you bringing that type of negativity to my channel if you don't like what I post just don't watch. Thank you, have a nice day🌞.

hi whats the nut size for this?
@myrclife2 ай бұрын
I'm not 100% sure, but it was the size of one of the sockets on a "hobby" 4 way wrench......you know the one that will take you tires off your smaller rc's.
