It wasn’t that magneto was in charge, it was how he handled the aftermath by setting off an EMP on the world and the world is about to die off if he doesn’t fix the magnetic field.

Bet the Avengers was trying to find ways to stop looting and the power issues. Bet most was busy with falling planes. And crashes.The effects and aftermath of the emp is a series in its self.

Exactly! There's simply no going back from that decision and Magneto knew it, which is why he offered THIS choice: "Screw this planet. All mutants who want to LIVE, come with me on asteroid M and we'll create our OWN utopia." The tragic irony and poetic symmetry of Magneto's actions --is that he is a Jew who endured The Holocaust, and now he's the one offering his FINAL SOLUTION ...to "the HUMAN problem." And thus--once again... responding to hatred and bigotry with MORE HATRED AND BIGOTRY...only leads to a vicious cycle that ultimately destroys the world.🧨🎇🎯

I'm so glad you guys kept pointing out that Charles letting Magneto take over the X-Men was actually a GOOD thing. During Erik's brief tenure as the group's leader, human-mutant relations improved dramatically as a direct result of his actions and influence. So when everybody constantly dogpiled on Charles this episode for that particular decision, i was getting kinda annoyed lol. Magneto's extreme retaliation (after Bastion sabotaged everything) should be a completely separate issue.

Shane I think you didn't understand what magneto did and why they were in a hurry make him put the magnetic fields back. In real life if that was to happen the cost would be astronomical. Solar storms, intense radiation life would end on earth And reactors still don't use what he did to humans and mutants power failings thousands of planes were flying,people who were being operated on,people on life support, submarines losing power and sinking. The xmen weren't blaming him for Genosha they were blaming him for his response that took thousands of people's lives humans and mutants. Sorry for the long winded diatribes but as this show tells you there's no right or wrong side and it's not clearly black and white.

Magneto never believed in Xavier's vision in the first place cos when it went wrong, he called it "your vision" it should be our vision. 22:41 Yes, Baston gets his powers back but so far Magneto has killed more than Baston. Lots of familes live off electricity and also the nuclear reactors Magneto shut all that down. Its not good for either mutants or humans

Magneto did fight for Charles's vision this season. It took a literal GENOCIDE to make him reverse course. Also you're forgetting mutants were being slaughtered worldwide until Magneto shut it down. There wasn't a good opton either way.
