When Professor X called them all their eyes lit up like the Thundercats when Lion-O pulled out the Sword of Omen. The scene where they found Bastion’s childhood home reminded of when the kids from Stranger Things season 4 found out Victor Creel’s childhood home. This is some brilliant 💩.

I love the contrast between the first episode of this series and the original series, but for a different reason. What I mean is, in the premiere of the original series, you see the X-Men having a hard time against the sentinels, but here, you see that they have absolutely no problem with dealing with them in style. Just like Rogue and Gambit said in ep1, they've been fighting them so many times in the past few years that they were able to handle the sentinels on Genosha with just the 2 of them alone. In fact, we also saw Gambit fighting sentinels alone on the toughest difficulty in the danger room when the X-Men guest-starred in Spider-Man TAS. Guess all that training paid off.

Actually only Spidey arm appeared in the original series. It was in Spiderman the animated series the X-men had a cameo. Which the artist drew the X-men different than their series models. Had a really weird looking Gambit in that cameo

Nah cap was in season 5, flashback to logan in WW2 episode. But to your point Spider-man is where they did most of the cameos, ff, blade, ironman, hawkeye etc.
