The show is definitely not "underrated". This show was quite popular back in it's day, how else do you think it got 4 seasons? I think the phrase you're looking for is "forgotten gem", it's also because we haven't had a new X-Men cartoon in quite some time which makes people forget about this show (and even the 90s version) even more unfortunately.

@@pitbulljasper22 Right, I watched it back when it debuted on KidsWB in 2000, my brother and I loved it and though I don't remember other kids raving about it like me and my brother did, as soon as KZbin became a thing and they originally had all the episodes posted here on KZbin (this was like 2010-2012), they reached close to 1 million views with comments flooded on them saying how much they loved the show when they were kids which is what showed that this show was not some forgettable experience, even being called one of the best spinoffs of a superhero series ever made.

Scott got a head injury when he was a kid, basically the "Off" button for his powers was knocked off. Rogue's brain is fine so she can control it.
