I started playing games when i was 5 years old and I've been playing them for 30 years now. X-Men Legends 2 is still in my top 5 games of all time. Its so much better than the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games too. I played this game when i was a teen and ended up buying it again off eBay when i was about 24. Loved it all over again and played through it several times. Even played a bunch with my wife. I'd pick two characters and let her pick the other two and that's the only two we'd use. You weren't allowed to use one of the other person's heroes. This game is what helped solidify Gambit as my all time favorite super hero too. Not just X-Men, but super hero period. He was my favorite X-Men before this game, but he was my favorite overall after playing this. This game just rocks. I think its hard to beat a super hero dungeon crawling RPG where you take a squad of 4 X-Men through tons of different areas beating the shit out of tons of different enemies and bosses. Leveling up your skills and abilities as well as collecting gear to help beef up your heroes. Such a great game! I wish it could be remastered graphically, but mostly kept the same in other areas. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 was really good too, but it wasn't as in depth as X-Men Legends 2. Then Ultimate Alliance 2 got even more watered down and Gambit wasn't as good in it as he used to be in my opinion. Wolverine was my favorite in UA2. 3 was decent, but it didn't have the same charm and addictive qualities as the older games did. Those series used to be the epitome of gaming to me.

2:22 How did you get actual controller icons in some of these? I play it on PC and it shows keyboard controls even if I rebind which means I have to constantly remember what does what. That and the controller being stuck with 4-direction movement (which is not a thing with keyboard controls) makes it extremely clunky as I have to rotate the camera to simulate diagonal movement.

I'm very curious how the character select screen is gonna work with all this added characters. Am I right in thinking it will be all console exclusive characters becoming available as well as all characters previously available in X-Men Legends 1 that didn't make it into X-Men Legends 2?

All characters from every version of XML2 and XML1 will be worked on, but there can only be 21 characters on the character select screen. You can choose which 21 you want beforehand.

@@Marvel_Mods i have followed these steps as best as possible. I cannot get the skins i have downloaded which are igb files to work on my gamecube version using the dolphin emulator. Are these files not compatible? Any way to convert igb files to fb? I got the 2.0 patch to work and it runs perfect on the gamecube version. It’s going to just be the modded files, which you download and add to the extracted game assets. It will require an emulator or a modded console. Stock consoles can’t run modded games. When the X2UP is released, there will be a tutorial alongside it that shows how to extract the game’s assets, modify them, and compile them. It won’t cover how to actually mod the console itself, though, since there are dedicated communities for that sort of thing.

Hey, I would like to ask will you guys be tweaking the danger room a bit to allow full matches such as no time limit; when the player wants to play enemy characters since in legends 1 for (ex.) you get 4 lives but it feels if only 2 minutes is implemented some enemies are better than others I get that but, fleshing out it will give me and many others if I'm not the only one a more hyped match( Just wondering since there's a bonus room).

Look, I don't know what it is, if it's the game or the XMLBCUI thing, but certain mods will cause everything below it in the ENGB file to just magically disappear Even WHEN I'm putting in the files EXACTLY HOW THEY SHOULD BE PUT IN I don't erase or add any spaces, I don't go too far down with the pasting, I don't forget to copy paste the files, none of that, I did the process exactly the way it should be each and every time I ASKED your Discord about it and none of you bothered to help me or even at least TRY to understand my issue, you just flat out ignored me And since you don't help people here, guess this puts an end to my modding experience. Not a part of the patch. It looks like that normally. Even in 4:3 resolution settings, the game shouldn't stretch on PC. The video clips, though, are filmed in higher resolution at 16:9.

The X2UP will include the XML1 characters, so Emma Frost, Psylocke, Magma and Jubilee will be included! Some of the content will port to the PSP as best as we can. As for making Scarlet Witch fly, we'll see but can't promise.
