I loved watching this series when it was on. Though I'm glad they changed the Sentinels in X-Men: Days of Future Past to make them more terrifying and almost indestructible. Those giant rock-em, sock-em robots wouldn't have held up against Magneto and other more powerful mutants in the live action films.

Now this is how you successfully open and sell your show, this opening sequence tells the audience so much about the world, the prejudice and the hero's, we see that despite the fear and doubt, the mutants are trying to live a normal life. fear of them is very wide spread in the public arena and In the Animated series the sentinels have been around for a while, as well as the detention camps. Like the films the sentinels have the ability to adapt to mutant powers hence the danger, I have always loved the look of the sentinels in this one as well

Better to throw around 200 cards with of packs at 2 pounds then carry 25 pounds worth of exploding bolts or rocks. I do think that he should throw a knife or even silly puddy once in a while. Those can actually stick to a surface before exploding.

Same problem in most cartoons that do capes. If you get a gang of them together, that are supposed to be Prime Level in their own cities/locales, you have something with too much plot armor. So, you kinda HAVE to either Nerf them, or Boost their BBEG's to the point where secondary characters aren't able to do squat without 50 tons of very obvious plot armor. I'd rather the Heroes get a nerf for the sake of a good story about teamwork.
