I liked this game better then Marvel vs Capcom Because you could play as Magneto & other fighters that weren't in the other game

Yeah marvel vs Capcom had a limited shitty selection. I wanted Ken Akuma bison cyclops basically all the assist characters to be playable but you could only use them for last resort assist then they randomly pick them for you too. Magneto was on there just as an assist . Now I liked alot of the characters like venom Morgan chunli shadow chunli shadow charlie gen and strider but it wasn't enough of the favorites especially for a crossover like that . The first and last mvc were something you had to really feel like playing to get into it. But part 2 and 3 are the shit. Part 2 was the best tho. Great fucking character selection. All the people you could think of awesome level select. Cool ass boss battle. Perfect tag fighter. Best ever in my opinion. Project justice was a beast too and mvc 3 was good but you expected more after 2. They kinda went backwards but it was still good tho. Well the ultimate MVC3 with all the characters. Marvel superheroes vs street fighter was a beast too. Alpha 3 wasn't a tag fighter but it felt like one imo. Now I play alot of jumpforce

I remember first playing Capcom / Marvel's " X-MEN vs. STREET FIGHTER" arcade game at celebration station as a young adult in high school. I just graduated high school. I t was the summer. My family and I went to Celebration Station fun place and I saw this game began playing it and Loved it. The crossover game with Capcom characters colliding with Marvel characters was just super awesome. This game is the sequel to "X-MEN: Children Of The Atom" that came out on Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation. The next series games after these games were " Marvel Superheroes" and " Marvel Superheroes vs. Street Fighter". Both, epic crossover fighting games.

Facts. I was playing this non stop on my ps1 back in the day. This was one of the biggest games when it came out. The soundtracks and animation were the best. But then Marvel vs Capcom was the biggest ever. This was the pioneer game for the whole franchise

Life was simpler when you would spot one of these at a random place as a kid and you had a quarter. It was you and your quarter against the world. I personally still love arcades more than consoles but they have pretty much gone extinct by now. I still try and play one if I'm lucky to find one and if you do sometimes the buttons don't even work well. I don't like playing them in the family arcades where you have to use a game card. They make them like $2 or more to play a game like wtf. Like that would have been 8 turns back in the day.

Um dos jogos de luta da minha infância e início da adolescência: X- Men vs Street Fighter! Minha memória relembra que eu ia ao delírio interno, ao ouvir a música da escolha dos lutadores... Bem cara dos X- Men! Hahaha. Agora, eu não lembro qual era os lutadores que eu mais gostava de lutar nesse jogo... Não era nem Chun- li, Cammy, Vampira ou Tempestade... When the X-Men characfers win, there's that cool "X" in the background in the victory screen. It took me an eternity to realize what the "Z" stood for when the Street Fighter characters won. As a kid it made....ZERO sense 🤣

It was a "2" For some reason "Street Fighter II" seemed to be the definitive title for the entire franchise and at one point and even during that time. Capcom made so many Street Fighter 2 sequels, but never called it "3" till later on, it was ALMOST like "2" was part of it's title as a franchise. You're right. A "Z" makes no sense.... the top stroke is curved. It's likely a "2"

One of my best team-ups were Wolverine and Storm, but I could be a real pain with storm. I use her double jump then typhoon cause it keeps her up there if you can time it right and can't be attacked.

@@edotsuki1979 Or import the Sega Saturn version with an Action Replay Plus (it will play it just fine since the Action Replay Plus has the 4MB RAM required and plays Japanese imports well), it plays exactly like the arcade version even with the fast load times
