One second. Haolan is the empress and mi is consort. How can their children call them muchi. Crown prince should call her mohou and consort MI's child should call her mufei.

Actually not always, that form of address was actually established much later in another dynasty, chinese forms of address tended to be different in each era. In the early dynasties the royal children still called their mothers "Muqin". This is set in the state of Qin and Consort Mi's rank in mandarin is not actually a "Fei" that rank didn't exist yet so naturally the term "Mufei" (mother "Fei") wasn't used either. Haolan's rank is not Empress yet either but more like Queen. A problem that happens sometimes is that some drama's use the wrong address for the time period because people are more familiar with it and it ends up causing confusion.
