Very in depth and good account of living and working in Singapore for just several years being here. You are a very observant person, however go-green and planting to improve living environment is not a recent event, it has been started and keep going since the first PM.

Thanks for the input and correction, I didn't know...I always thought "garden city" is a relatively new idea, in that case I am truly surprised and amazed by the wisdom or pioneer of Singapore. Good job!

@@MitchShengHuo You probably misled by “Gardens By The Bay” project. The decision for this project to take off demonstrated the country willingness to make Singapore a better place even though a big piece of reclaimed land and huge resources were committed.

You sound very logical and well spoken in your video. Singapore welcomes talents like you. :)
I wonder whether politics and race issues also influence your decision to move to Sg. After completed my study in UK in the 1970s, I chose to return to M'sia instead of staying back in UK or migrate to Canada or US. Work brought me to Sg. After working in Sg for some years, I realize I wouldn't want to return to M'sia, just like many of my fellow M'sian classmates.

racial tension is not as intense probably because I was at Penang, however, from my own experience mingling with people from diverse racial and cultural background, they are all kind hearted people and no problem embracing each others' differences, its not conclusive but political motives definitely plays a part in racial tension as potrayed on medias.

新加坡警方常提醒:“Low Crime is not No crime"。所以马国朋友还是必须小心,用 tissue paper chope seat,上厕所也需要把贵重东西带上,因为你可能是万分之一的 ”被偷者“。女生也是要注意人生安全,因为曾有女生单独在偏僻的地方跑步和走捷径被性侵犯。不要跟陌生人搭电梯,假装去开信箱,或怕伤害人就拿出手机说你先上,我等人。新加坡不许售卖胡椒喷,你们就买一小小的plastic sprayer 装 clinical alcohol (药材店也有)。
Singapore Police is very efficient. 99% they will solve the case..... That's y so safe.

I hope I can say the same for Malaysia police force 😔

China Police efficiency greatly improved in recent year w use of AI technology. Basically, would any new person entering a city, he will be identified and traced all his movement from day 1 to the day he leave the city using facial recognition via cctv that are installed throughout the city. Any snatch thief will be caught within hours, so no one dare to test its efficiency.

thanks for the suggestion 👍🏽 although this idea has never occured to me but I think they would prefer to stay in Penang where they are more familiar with and more laid back

@@MitchShengHuo Penang has produced many talented and hard working people. Those who settled here includes our ex Minister, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, who was also from Penang and graduated from Chung Ling High School. He is known to us as the Fix It Minister who resolved problems in various problems during his time.
