家庭觀念。來自開平的方劍華身上，我們體現了中國人傳統的家庭觀念。在中式快餐店當廚師的他，百慕大不是他的天堂，只是賺錢的地方。他用盡所有辦法，甚至不介意花光積蓄，申請在國內的哥哥來一起工作。來自香港的陸志強，十七年前突然放下一切，走到百慕達的餐館工作，他先後與兩個當地女人結婚，但都離婚收場。未來，他希望能娶一個中國女人。
今日的中國，無論在政治上還是經濟上都教世人刮目相看：同樣，令我們驚訝的是，
原來世界上很多極其偏遠的角落，都有黃皮膚、黑眼睛的中國人正在不屈不撓地生活。
亞洲電視為了讓世界各地的觀眾可以分享和見證這些中國人的奮鬥故事，不惜工本炮
製香港首部大型紀錄專輯「尋找他鄉的故事」。整個製作經過極長時間的資料搜集，
更派出精銳的攝製隊走遍五洋七洲，當中包括一些極為陌生，甚至從不敢去的戰亂地
帶。而每段真實感人的故事，都展示著令中國人驕傲的傳奇。
Today’s China, both politically and economically, teaches the world to admire itself. Similarly, to our surprise, it turns out that many extremely remote corners of the world have yellow-skinned and dark-eyed Chinese people who are living unrelentingly. In order to allow audiences from all over the world to share and witness the struggle stories of these Chinese people, ATV has spared no effort in concocting Hong Kong’s first large-scale documentary album “Finding Stories from Afar”. After a very long period of data collection for the entire production, elite film crews were sent to travel all over the five oceans and seven continents, including some extremely unfamiliar, war-torn areas that were never even dared to go. And every true and touching story shows a legend that makes the Chinese proud.
