Yeah, I think I'll stick with EXVS Being honest, I don't see how this is getting traction when Namco already did their own EXVS over a decade ago with Rise of Incarnates, and was made by the same team, no less. It also didn't lock movesets behind gacha/money

But this game cover PC and Mobile platform which EXVS doesn't target rn Even tho Gundam Versus has Mobile ver. Too, but it shitty compared to real one while this one at least closes one to EXVS China know how to steal Japan Player by doing this move like they did on Genshin (Zelda but Mobile and PC)

Yeah, RoI only locked every single character behind a paywall at launch...and if I recall correctly stats (SFxT Gems) were gacha and grind-heavy. Between that shit, Tekken Revolution, and Gundam Evolution, Bamco has a consistent history of fucking up F2P models. If you want a F2P EXVS, it's not gunna be from Bamco.

@@AldracityBamco fucks up in multiple ways too, RoI in this particular sense was shut down 3 to 6 months after release, it wasn't given a chance to test the waters at all. Gundam Evolution was kind of like this though they did give Gunevo a chance for a bit

Locking skins behind gacha I can get, but locking *_moves_* behind gacha is another layer of evil. Then again, it's F2P and it's not the only gacha action game I know that does bs like this (Tales of the Rays)... ...which begs the question: is it common in similar games such as Genshin?

Luckily I feel like more recent Hoyo game like Genshin and Star Rail characters can function fine with just 1 copy (well at least the 5*). HI3 your characters are basically crippled without fully geared gacha item and usually get powred creep often. But I think that's because there are some ranking elements for HI3 that encourage ppl to whale so they get to stay on the list while Genshin and Star Rail are PVE and have no competition.

It's common for hoyo games to lock a wholly new gameplay layer behind acquiring multiple copies of a character. As for other gachas... As far as I can tell it's pretty tame, at least as far as I know. I mean in Limbus Company you need exactly 1 copy of a character and no more than that, and others I played just provide stat differences. Never seen a gacha lock whole moves behind a paywall, so that's new ig.

I rather struggle hard to get character than struggle to Max Potential/dupe one character for just unlock their full potential But sadly 99% gacha company favor more Whaler as they really like min max their character through $$ which kinda Understandable for me for gacha company to get $$ But still i wish this game have more way to unlock character circuit other than getting their Dupe, there's external material but sad it's only obtainable through Bundle Shop Like gacha game Counter Side, it has PVP as major features in their game, u don't need to get Dupe for their full potential, dupe just to break through level 100 to 110 (+2 each dupe), but they give player options to farm Breakthrough level materials u can farm weekly So all u need is just get 1 copy of character and dump your precious resources to max your fav character, u can be Top 500 as F2P there as long u know what u do with PVP Meta and for Veteran, they can go top 100 when they're first day player and still play now as long Meta in their side

Locking movesets behind gacha. Yeah, thats a solid pass from me. Characters and skins being locked is normal, im used to that. This is a new level of low, even for a gacha.
