I'm always amazed to see the number of people who can only criticize. Let them post a video and see how good they are. I have never seen a video on KZbin, be it a great Orchestra Conductor, a great Chef in cokery without thumbs down. I am always wondering why they even bother to watch. Interesting video, you showed up that pilot for taking off without talking on Unicom however you cannot take off yourself without having filed a correct flight plan. You must file it before takeoff otherwise you’re not cleared to fly anywhere.

I have something which is quite similar although I find the throttle is always all over the place, as for the controls it is still hard to control especially using the rudder as it is not a foot rudder paddle so it can cause over use of rudder input and further deviate from where I need to be. In saying that no virtual rudder feel the same as the real thing.

Hi Dan, depending on what aircraft and scenery my fps could be around 12-20, I wouldn't say my set up is providing the best performance but if you're looking for better frames you might want to go higher than what I have. The specs of my PC can be found on my about page on my KZbin channel.

Question - how come your windshield so clear? I have these lines on it all the time - in the air; or on the ground. Also, I can't turn any of the gauges in the AP. Can't adjust speed, hdg or alt. Any ideas?

did you activate the aircraft properly? Might want to reinstall the aircraft (re-download the whole aircraft folder) and activate it again, if the buttons are not working that's mean either the aircraft is not activated with the license key or there might be something wrong with your plugin.

I bought this plane for X-Plane 11 and everything is great except on landing some weird bouncy or wind affect completely just levels my plane. It's extremely odd, I've experimented with different fuel levels and no luck. It's as if a huge wind comes across and rolls my plane up and down as soon as I'm about to touch down, but even with no wind and different fuel levels, it is consistent, any insight ?

+AetheriusFoxx I think maybe the design has something to do with that causing it to glide, and it is difficult to put it down before touchdown, if that's what you mean anyway. I do have that problem of making it touchdown but I'm not really aware of much of other issues.

it is pretty accurate as it uses real world weather data, but of course real world weather changes constantly so there can be some differences, and also depending on how high and fast the actual aircraft is flying, that can change significantly on an ultra long flight.

you can disconnect AP either by setting a dedicated button to your controller or simply press the AP button (AP1 or AP2 depending on which one you have selected). As for the auto brake, there's a knob right above the landing gear handle where you can select auto brake and it will show up on your PDF which setting you have armed, if memory serves me right I think there are 3 auto brake setting.

Your left right brake was at full rudder because x-plane 11 has an enormous amount of bugs. Too many to count. I’m surprise you could land given that my autopilot goes rangy halfway through a flight . What a waste of time!

I do not have a problem starting the APU, you might want to try updating your aircraft and X-Plane to the latest version. If it still doesn't work, I would suggest going to forums.x-plane.org and there should be someone who can help you out.

when you are powering up for takeoff, you will see something like manual throttle (MAN THR) then FLEX +(number) or MAN TOGA which you can also confirm on the autopilot panel that the A/THR have the light illuminated. If it has failed to activate, after takeoff you can push that button to manually activate it.

there are several networks that allows you to join and see other players and use the ATC system if the ATC is online at that time, the only 2 that I know of are IVAO and VATSIM. I am using Vatsim's server and to connect it to X-Plane, you will need xSquawkbox. You can get more information on their websites.

Well, number of things; PAPI was displaying 'High' lights. In a large jet like the A350 if you see that you are safer to go around. The Pilot overcompensated and dove, hence the system shouting 'Sink rate' (descending too fast). This would be incredibly uncomfortable for passengers in a real scenario and dangerous for aircraft airfoil and integrity. You only continue your landing on small prop aircraft with high PAPIs because their glide path is much steeper should an engine fail. Secondly, the plane touched down after the runway markings (due to overflaring) which indicate where it's safe to touchdown. Again: should have aborted and gone around. Third, centreline deviation was horrendous. I just really hope you were joking with that comment... XD However, you have to start somewhere and everyone makes bad landings occasionally... just most people don't post them on the internet :D

@@AlexTunstall Well firstly thank you for spending time to comment but this is a sim and it was a long flight so I didn't want to go around, plus the reason I deviate from the centreline was because I was trying to catch a different view and not actually focusing on the landing which is my fault, as for the one before landing it was due to me not having any rudder and I want to avoid using ailerons to prevent getting further off the centreline, so I'm taking responsibility on the view switching I shouldn't have done it. I am not too sure if I understand your question, but I use flightaware.com for real flight time and possibly route and gate for better accuracy. I then use simbrief.com to create a flight plan for my flight, which will provide me with a flight plan of most information that I need for the flight, including fuel, cost index, flight time, route, NOTAMs, weather, etc...

it actually depends on the wind. The more headwind for the flight, the longer it takes. Some flights are about 15 hours some are 17+ hours.

depends on your expectation, there's no SID & STAR, and you will have to manually program all the altitude and speed on the flight plan but if you can live with a not complete MCDU then I suppose it is a decent aircraft. Sorry for the late response btw.

If you have purchased X-Plane 11, it might come as a beta version at first but you should be getting an update to transition from the beta to the official release. The beta version is the actual X-Plane itself, just with some bugs that they will need to fix before releasing the game to the public. If you need to know about the official release update, you will have to email them to see how you can get that update since mine does it automatically when I switch it on.

the animated people are build along with the airport scenery, so if the designer has added it in, you will see it, or else there wouldn't be any

Well the flight was good and I really think you could did better than what you did because it does not take that long also when you was setting up the airplane you missed a dew things that's important that will save more time and will be more better also the landing was (BAD) because you was looking everywhere and not keeping the plane on the runway..

what are the things that I missed doing? and yea someone told me to give a few different POV so I was trying to do that but that doesn't work too well, so I wouldn't be doing it anymore.

+HARMEN GAMESTERS it's because I've to prepare the aircraft for its flight, making sure all the systems are up and running and the flight plan is entered so that I can navigate through the flight plan that I've been given.

Take off speed is 132- 150 knots... Why take off at 190?

V1 is around 173 knots, rotate speed and V2 is around 186 knots. This speed is calculated based on our weight, which is empty weight + fuel + pax + cargo. Due to such long flight, we are carrying near full capacity fuel load which accounts for a large amount of weight during takeoff hence the reason we have a higher rotate speed.

I think you meant the sound during taxi? Probably they did it to replicate some bumps on the taxiway but overdoing it
