I fly a home built sport plane. Same class as yours. I found out early that the least amount of control input will give you the best results. Null out some sensitivity of Pitch, roll and yaw. Fly level and trim at suggested cruising speed then let go of the stick and see how long it takes before a wing drops. These are simple ways to find out the stability of your plane.

Just in case you didn't know, nav lights are used to show that the aircraft has power, the beacon is used to alert anyone around that it's no longer safe to approach the aircraft e.g. engine start and strobe lights are only used when approaching a runway

Also the fuel pump is used along with setting the mixture to full rich before engine start for however long is needed as it primes the engine, without it an aircraft may fail to start, the fuel pump must then be turned off and mixture must be set for engine start

Actually now that I look closely it appears that there is no beacon light, the strobes are acting as the beacon light, what I said earlier about strobes being used when approaching a runway I'm referring to the white flashing lights on the wings

hi....its a wonderful little plane. really like how it flies and handles very predictably and smoothly. This plane has an adjustable pitch prop which really helps make it quiet and fuel efficient too. Instrumentation is wonderful with only one fault that I have found. Like the G530 for its simplicity, but wish it had the auto pilot that comes with the stock Cessna that allows ILS approaches etc. Other than that she's a gem. I bought this aircraft a few months ago and have really enjoyed it , only wish that I had waited to get it for free. Good video Thanks John

Beautiful aircraft. I just bought it and noticed the IAS knob does not control the airspeed in autopilot mode. Are you experiencing the same?

I have tried this airplane as well; quite the little speedster. BTW, CHT = Cylinder Head Temperature; just as important as EGT. Also, Controller.com has one FG listed, a 2006 model for sale at $129,900 with about 1000 hours.

I like the plane but mine sounds like a vaccuum cleaner running. Terrible sound. And correct me if I am wrong but you would never start the engine with the canopy open, maybe on a slide back but not with that being a parachute in front. JMHO

Pilotus Aero I would start it with canopy open, easy exit if there was a fire.

Those window reflections are terrible - very distracting. I notice the aircraft suffers from the XP11 directional control issues which rob the Sim of a great deal of enjoyment. A proper fix for this in XP12 would be very well received by the Community.

The plane Isn't twitchey, but you are. Do as much as you can before take off or taxi.

How do you make the pilot visible in external view ? On my version it's not visible

Good question. Mine just looks that way by default, not sure why yours would be different. Sorry I don't have an answer, but i didn't change or mod anything.

Where did you free the brakes, couldn't find the switch.

You can assign a key on the keyboard or joystick with the keybindings in x plane settings, look for parking brake toggle
