Average FPS=30 FPS on:
3440x1440 nVidia GeForce 3080Ti
Ryzen 5900x
64 GB RAM (3200 MHz)

Remember that people are reporting merely "adequate" performance with XP12 -- and that's with the scant default scenery. Once you add the so-called "orthos" or Orbx or add-on aircraft, XP12 will grind to a halt.

i don't think so. true, not much is loaded now, but the other way around you don't need a weather addon now. Some Overlays cause FPS drops, but they have to be updated. Have just tried the Toliss A340, what can I say ... 30 FPS CAVOK. With clouds even 35. Same with Orthos. This Early Access is also incredibly stable, so for a PublicBeta.... it always dances around 30/35 fps, as if x plane 12 would balance itself.

I don't think so either. I have an old i7 7700k with 4.3 GHz and a GTX 1080 Ti - frame rates at 1080p are more or less what I have in XP11 - just CPU and GC are working a little bit harder. But nowhere at limits.

i tested now a bunch of aircraft like FF b757/767 FF A320, all in beta status. "XP will grind to halt" has not happened.

the A330 must be improved significantly, especially the FMC. without init/perf/vnav the a330 is lost. But that is also what Laminar has announced

How much FPS were you getting during these flights? I wish xp12 didn't have the same framerate issues like xp11. edit: I didn't read the desc.

it feels really better than XP11. Overall 30 fps, but i was streaming in discord and recording in obs too. that was with very high settings. with the standard cessna i get 60 fps. in the next days i think we get more concret infos about performance. but again, the performance looks very good compared to XP11, its smoother transitions and good flown between the views. and that with high-settings.

you should see MS2020´s cotton candy clouds! Best flight sim clouds is without a doubt DCS!

well, finally reasonable clouds without expensive addons - and don't forget - work in progress - Laminar will finetune and optimize XP12 in the next months.
