You don't use the rudder pedals on the ground just the tiller. The only thing you could use the rudder pedals for on the ground is differential braking. FlightFactor did a great job modeling this!

This will happen only if you do not set the cabin altitude before take off. The only way to solve this issue is to drop the aircraft below 10,000 feet.

Yes, it enables TO/GA, but disables it 2 seconds later. I've had the same problem with the Zibo 737 and fixed it with a higher throttle noise setting. The 757 also has a thrust sensitivity option which I already tried but no luck so far... I'm using the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick.

You need to turn engine bleeds on so that the APUs bleed air can start the engines. Without them all on, you'll have no airflow for engine start

Stephen That’s not correct. In this case only APU bleed air is required to start the engines. Turning on the engine bleed air before the engine is procedurally incorrect and can disrupt an engine start ( in real life). Additionally, turning on engine bleed air without the engine on provides no bleed air whatsoever. Speaking from my experience as a current military flight engineer.

Lovely approach over Warsaw. Even though you couldn´t see a thing, the stobes reflecting on the clouds, that authentic cloud color over the city, it all just looks very believable. My question is though, is this v2 757 which is said to be certified by Boeing, on par with PMDG birds ? I don´t know, it just SEEMS toy-ish to me. I´ve never flown it so it might be just my impression. Any idea of what´s not simulated here that is simulated with PMDG planes ? I just wanna know if it´s worth my money when I get back to simming and because I have flown PMDG 737 before, I don´t really want to fly something that´s not at least as good as the NGX. I would really appreciate your opinion on this. Cheers.

The FF 757 is a great plane, but it is not on par with the accurate Pmdg planes for FSX/P3D. I think there is no plane at that level for X-PLane yet.

I'm having issues with the VNAV function on the 757v2 extended. I just won't control the speed of the aircraft and when I try to engage the SPEED button it fails to illuminate and function. You should open fuel for engines start at 22-24 of N2, not of OIL press! :-) Then you won't have a hot start :-) A terrible takeoff... :-) Why don't you use the electronic checklists and procedures supplied with the model?

Hello there, 1. Make sure you buy 757 v2, it includes an updater to get the latest updates. When you purchase it, it should be the latest version. 2. Don't get EFASS it is dead and no further development is taking place. 3. I get the metar from the flight plan, but you can also get it from the XPlane mini map by zooming in on an airport and then clicking on the airport region in the map. Blue skies and happy flying =)

It's a timer, goes up to 60 minutes, an alarm sounds after the set number of minutes, to wake you up or remind you to do something. Use it just like the timer on an old microwave oven, turn to required number of minutes and release and it will count down.

Greeting and this was a very informative video. I was interested in the EFASS planning software but from what I've read on blogs, etc. there may be some questions about future development and that the support is pretty much non-existent. I downloaded the trial version and there seem to be a great deal missing in terms of data and processes for flights based in the US (maybe because it's the trial?). I can't believe there would not be an option to calculate weights in lbs. vs KGs. So, having said all of this, would love your feedback and feedback from others.

The best tool for professional flight planning is PFPX. I have found SimBrief to be excellent for beginners, but if you want granular control over all aspects of flight planning, I really recommend PFPX.

I like how thorough you are with all of the aircraft systems, however although you said what switches you were flipping or knobs that you were turning, I would have appreciated a greater level of explanation. Like instead of just saying what you were doing, why. For instance, you didn't really say the method behind the startup procedure, instead you just kind of flipped a bunch of switches while rattling off the name of each.

It depends on the aircraft and equipment. For the Airbus for example, you need both AP1 and AP2 to be engaged for Autoland. On the 737, you need CMD 1 2 3 engaged for autoland. On the 737, the aircraft may or may not be equipped with this feature, so it is always a good idea to read the manual to see if the particular aircraft you are flying is equipped with Autoland feature. Some airports ILS are not equipped with this feature also. So both the aircraft and the airport must have this in order for the airplane to be able to do an autoland.

IRS alignment doesn't take forever lol. It's like 10 minutes which you will be doing other stuff in the meant time. By the time you are ready for push they will be aligned. Same thing with pax loading.

FEVB 10 minutes is a long time when making a video lol. Try making a video. you will be done with everything and will be sitting waiting for IRS to align. I speak from experience and if you make videos you will understand what I mean. thanks for watching!

That's odd! At my last flight I got an altitude disagreement and had to set the copilot's altimeter too. Do you have the SSG E170? It's a really nice aircraft in my opinion. It would be really great If you would do a tutorial for this plane. Maybe a short route from London City to.... Would be much appreciated! Btw awesome vid dude! Love your content! Have nice day!

Nicolas Well there is the predecessor of the SSG E170 Evolution and you can get it for free at the forum but I was referring to the Evo so the newest version and this version is pay ware you can buy it at the .org store. It brings a lot of improvements to the aircraft.

Nice video but the landing was awful, you just needed to follow the FD lol and adjust thrust, you should have go around

I saw the diamond going into too law altitude and also the 4 red papi lights. I also would not disengage the AT until touch down. But I appreciate the decision under this weather conditions to switch to full AP and then in the last phase to fly manually. There was absolutely no need for a go-around.

Very poor manual flying skills! Failed to follow the FD on takeoff and approach. Better turn it off instead of keeping it on then! Went below glideslope on finals and almost stalled the plane on short finals! I'd suggest you refly this route with cat 1 minimums and using a more hands on aircraft like the 727 or 737-200. Try using less automation and flying her manually as soon as established on ILS like the pros do! Ps. Your landing flare is all wrong. The aircraft just floated over the runway till eternity. Flare should be initiated with a slight 2 to 3 degree pitch up around 30 feet RA and the thrust levers gradually and simultaneously reduced to idle. Perfection is when the thrust levers reach the idle stop just as the wheels touch down! Pps. I like the way you followed the procedures and checklists though. It seems you have studied the systems manual thoroughly but you also need to read the FCTM to fly her to her full potential.
